Last month the Trust hosted the usual clubs and activities that usually take place on and in Trust grounds and property. They carried out a substantial project on renewal of drainage from the children’s play ground toilets and spent a lot of time discussing and collecting information on the projects being looked at under S106 funding. Annual accounts for the Charities Commission were submitted to the accountant and received back positively. Going forward the activities of the Trust are expected to be the same with the AGM having taken place on June 10 th. For the future, projects are in the pipeline to provide access for more groups of people to a wider range of activities, particularly those for whom facilities at present are lacking in the village, including working with the disabled and disadvantaged. It is hoped the Winkleigh Wood Walk will be open to all members of the village by the end of summer.
